Multiphonic Wind Ensemble (MWE) is an English-speaking wind ensemble (aka concert band, “brass band,” community band) based in Tokyo.
We hold our own concerts and practice sessions and participate in music festivals where possible. Current and former members include both foreigners and Japanese people who want opportunities to speak English.
